Hours

Open for Testing at the following times:

(Check-in at the DLC Reception Desk, in the basement of Olson Hall, Room 53)

Please arrive an hour before closing so you have time to finish your exam.

Fall 2025 Hours

  • November 24, 25: Regular hours (see below).
  • Nov 26: Walk-in testing from 9am to 2pm
  • Closed November 27 and 28
  • December 1 thru December 5th-
    • Regular Hours:
      • Walk-in Testing:
        • M, Tu, We, Th:  9:00am to 8:00pm
        • Fridays: 9:00am to 4pm
  • During Finals:
    • Dec 8, 9, 10- Open 9am to 5pm
    • Dec 11 and 12- 9am to 12pm, and by appointment

Closed on University, State, or Federal Holidays

Note: Many of our Placement Exams are available 24/7 online, here. These free, online exams are only for information. They can be used to decide which class to take; however, they are not Proficiency Exams, and they do not count toward fulfilling your Foreign Language Requirements.

  • Olson 18 (28 Seats, Active Learning Classroom/Space, Calendar)
  • Olson 18A (24 Seats, Active Learning Classroom/Space, Calendar)
  • Olson 53A (25 Seats, Active Learning Classroom/Space; or 50+ Seats, Multimedia Presentation Room, Calendar)
  • Olson 57 (27 Seats, Windows Computer Lab/Digital Listening Lab, Calendar)
  • Vocal Booths or Sound-Proof Rooms (Walk-in or By Appointment)
  • Olson 63 (Small Study or Research Room by Reservation)

Note: 18, 18A, 53A & 57 are not open for walk-ins when reserved for classes; please check their schedules by door or online calendars.
