- We offer walk-in proficiency testing in: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
- If Olson Hall is locked, call us at 530-752-1508 and we'll come let you in.

- Monday–Wednesday: You can begin an exam between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday–Friday: You can begin an exam between 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Note: Many of our Placement Exams are available 24/7 online, here. These free, online exams are only for information though. They can be used to decide which class to take; however, they are not Proficiency Exams, and they do not count toward fulfilling your Foreign Language Requirements.

- Olson 57 (27 Seats, Windows Computer Lab/Digital Listening Lab, Calendar)
- Vocal Booths or Sound-Proof Rooms (Walk-in or By Appointment)
- Olson 63 (Small Study or Research Room by Reservation)
Note: 18, 18A, 53A & 57 are not open for walk-ins when reserved for classes; please check their schedules by door or online calendars.
